Since we work with brands who wish to reach multicultural consumers, Instagram – being a diverse platform – is a great space to both research and work with Influencers. Currently, 28% of its users are Latino / Hispanic. Many of our clients have used information like this to specifically target certain groups.

We use our own platform as well as tools like Buzzstream and Intellifluence.
Which content categories (i.e. verticals) are likely to become the most popular on Instagram for influencers?
Just about any vertical can benefit from Instagram Influencers, but I think the non-profit space has so much untapped potential. We have run a few campaigns for nonprofits and the targeting opportunities are amazing, especially among nano-influencers.
What advice would you give to a new business that wants to gain and grow its paid sponsorships?
Focus on the audience and the type of content that the influencer generates more than their number of followers. Smaller influencers, such as micro and nano-influencers, will create better engagement for brands and a more authentic connection to the audience they are seeking to reach.
How do you think Influencer Marketing will grow among small businesses in near future?
Small businesses will continue to adopt influencer marketing in the coming years as the industry continues to grow. Its awareness will likely grow exponentially as more people learn about it.
