While the presentations may be different, influencer marketing is a more personalized and targeted form of digital advertising. Influencers generally produce a spike in brand awareness where other digital advertisements are more gradual.

As big as it already is, I think Instagram is only going to get more popular. Not every industry is fit to promote their products on Instagram but most business-to-consumer businesses will benefit from Instagram influencing.
I imagine other services that have not traditionally used influencers, like medicine, will start incorporating influencer marketing somehow.

I use Ninjalitics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics and various ROI calculators.
My most successful strategies have always involved using personalized ads, running giveaway campaigns incorporating discounts.
What advice would you give to a new business that wants to gain and grow its paid sponsorships?
I am more old-school, especially for an e-commerce owner. I focus on creating awareness and providing value to the end-user.
How do you think Influencer Marketing will grow among small businesses in the near future?
What we see with big businesses – making a celebrity a brand ambassador – can be done with small businesses using micro-influencers on a smaller scale. Now is the time to start doing this before the market becomes saturated.
