I think they both have a place in marketing. However, influencer marketing can really create inspiring content, especially if it’s showing somebody’s personal journey, spirituality (like yoga or meditation gurus), travel, or anything else that can portray something visually inspiring and relatable.

How should brands use Instagram influencers to grow their business? What is your personal experience with Instagram influencing?
Personally, I haven’t had the best experience. I went through an influencer agency for a client who took half the fee, and we only gained 20 followers. No leads, no sales. Once my time with the agency was done, I never heard from them again.

Get yourself out there. Create a great brand and personality. Then write content that attracts influencers and clients to you.

I think many people are looking for authenticity now. So, the more authentic an influencer is, the more followers they will gain.
